DIAPHORM ARMOR SOLUTIONS
Everyone at Diaphorm is driven by a sense of urgency, a genuine desire to make a real difference, and a true understanding that the products we are developing today may well save someone’s life tomorrow. We have become a world leader in the research, development and actual manufacturing of ballistic material. It is a responsibility we take very seriously.

High tenacity fibers such as S-glass, Aramid, and Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) have been the materials of choice in lightweight armor applications for the past two decades. Today, Diaphorm is successfully combining thermoplastic (TP) resins to these fibers because of the inherent extreme toughness and lower density of the TP resins. The significant expertise that Diaphorm has developed in forming and molding monolithic, hybrid and hard faced rigid CFRTPC materials, makes it very easy for people in the ballistic market to choose Diaphorm’s compelling armor solutions.

We are constantly seeking to elevate the level of protection and reliability of our products for those who need it the most.

Armor Products

Diaphorm Armor History includes working directly with the US Army Research Labs (ARL) and other large US defense contractors in developing process and laminate solutions for armor applications that has resulted in both new technology development as well as successful product commercialization.

In 2006 Diaphorm became the first US based firm to introduce an all thermoplastic composite material based NIJIIIA rated ballistic helmet for the US police market. The helmet shown above, as marketed through the firm’s distribution channel Max Pro- Police & Armor , represents a breakthrough in both materials and processing techniques, such that it weighs 25% less than the theromset alternative and is offered at a  highly competitive price point.
