SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE BA-3AC-TC BALLISTIC HELMET
WITH COMFORT FIT SYSTEM

SHELL
The shell is manufactured utilizing advanced Thermoplastic Aramid and Glass Fabric Composites, raising the level of protection while reducing the weight to two pounds, for the utmost in protection and comfort.
Shell trim contour does not have a brim but has an extra wide eye port opening for maximum peripheral vision to comfortably accommodate all known gas masks and goggles. Neck trim line provides maximum protection while allowing uninhibited movement when wearing most ballistic vests with collars. Entire helmet is finished off with extruded neoprene rubber trim and protected with scratch resistant non reflective flat paint.

SIZES
Size Range 6 3/4” to 7 7/8”. A comfortable, four point, fully adjustable sizing system accommodates XS-XL, and is combined with a maximum perspiration absorbing liner.

RETENTION SYSTEM
The retention system is built of tubular poly webbing reinforced with double bar tacked stitching in critical areas, and will come with both a fully adjustable, smooth slide lock system, and padded nape strap to insure a stable, secure fit. A user friendly quick release mounted on the left side of the wearers head will facilitate easy on, easy off use with no interference when sighting the individual’s weapon for target acquisition. The entire retention system shall be attached to the ballistic shell with a sturdy four-point flush bolt system, and will include a soft comfortable chin cup.

COMFORT FIT SYSTEM
The Comfort Fit System shall include a set of fit pads that are made of a soft polypropylene outer material to facilitate wicking of the wearers perspiration from his or her skin and a reticulated inner foam pad which is designed to hold the moisture for evaporation which will cool the head. All Comfort Fit System Pads shall be removable and washable.

Helmet shell meets or exceed Level IIIA National Institute of Justice 0106.01.
