Specifications for THE FC-210 Full-Face Modular Correctional Helmet

SHELL
The full-face/full coverage shell is constructed of lightweight composite material. The shell features an adjustable, six position ratchet anti-fog face shield. The shell design incorporates a modular jaw piece that can be raised with a push of a button that is located under the chin edge of the helmet. The jaw piece can be safely opened or closed with one hand and locks in place. Cool stream flow-through ventilation to the helmet’s interior is accomplished by open/close slide vents at forehead and chin. Weight approximately 3.5 lbs. Color available: Gloss Black.

LINER
The impact liner is constructed of expanded polystyrene foam to provide maximum impact energy attenuation.

SIZING SYSTEM
Sizes: XS 6 3/4”-6 7/8”, Small 7”-7 1/8”, Medium 7 1/4”, Large 7 3/8”-7 1/2”, XL 7 7/8”. Interior fit pad and padded neck roll is constructed of closed cell foam covered with terry velour interior.

RETENTION SYSTEM
The retention system includes a two point attachment harness. The chin strap is equipped with a quick release buckle (all metal working parts) for secure fastening that meets or exceeds industry standards. The quick release buckle allows timely entrance and exit to helmet even when user is wearing gloves.

TACTICAL FACE SHIELD WITH GUARD GRID
Face shield material is clear, optical grade Lexan material. Shield may be easily changed, if necessary. Guard grid is designed to give added protection to an officer’s facial area. Grid is manufactured of #9 gauge steel, electrostatic power coated black in color. Guard grid is drilled and attached to face shield securely by four screws.

Meets or exceeds National Institute of Justice 0104.02 (riot), 0105.01 (crash) requirements and Department of Transportation FMVSS-218 (for impact only).
